President and CEO Joe Lamond of the National Association of Music Merchants announced today that NAMM still plans to hold its Summer trade show in Nashville June 18 to 20.
“We’ve had a long history with Nashville and we are delighted to be in a position to support this city … during this difficult period,” Lamond said.
The show has long been scheduled for Nashville Convention Center, where last week’s historic flooding hit hard, causing damages amounting in the millions.
Summer NAMM could draw 10,000 to 12,000 attendees and will hopefully generate more than $13 million for the local economy, and BareFootMusicNews plans to be there to capture the action for you.
