The Fabulous Thunderbirds Join Black Crowes at Doheny

The Fabulous Thunderbirds have signed on to the bill for the 2010 Doheny Blues Festival, joining headliners Crosby, Stills & Nash and the Black Crowes.

With hits like “Tuff Enuff” and “Wrap It Up,” The Fabulous Thunderbirds have recorded 20 albums and sold millions of them over more than 30 years. Founding member, vocalist and harmonica player Kim Wilson still leads the group. “We started as a straight blues band” Wilson said. “We now incorporate a mixture of a lot of different styles. We’re an American music band and we’re higher energy than ever before.” The Fabulous Thunderbirds features Jay Moeller on drums, Johnny Moeller and Mike Keller on guitar, and Randy Bermudes on bass.
