A concert featuring Tallan Noble Latz, along with other musicians, comedians, and appearance by “The Special Ops Girls,” will be held April 23 at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee.

The concert will be the national kick-off benefit for Guitars For Vets, and the donation of a guitar in any condition earns free admittance.

Guitars For Vets provides 6 free private lessons and a new acoustic guitar to military veterans at VA medical centers. The private lessons are then followed by group sessions that provide a forum in which community is fostered. The tagline of the non-profit organization is “The healing power of music in the hands of heroes"and as they put it on their site, “Through self expression and the healing power of music, it is our intent to restore the feelings of joy and purpose that can be lost after suffering trauma.”
