Mobility Band to Headline 11th Annual Springfest

05/06/10 09:44, by , Categories: NAMM 2010, Music News, Festivals and Events, BFMN Exclusive, Bands

Mobility, a subdivision of the USAF Band of the Golden West, is an upbeat group of talented musicians traveling the West Coast bringing civilians and military personnel entertainment and American pride through rock, jazz and blues favorites.

Under the musical leadership and following the beat of drummer Technical Sergeant Preston Keating, Mobility consists of Staff Sergeant Nathan Bersee on bass, Airman 1st Class Brandon May on keyboard, Staff Sergeant Jason Cale on guitar, and Staff Sergeant “Niko” Ellison supplying vocals. Senior Airman Lou Kohley engineers the audio to ensure the band is tight and the sound is right to bring people to their feet with a smile. That’s what they’ll be doing at the Kick-off Concert for SpringFest 2010 in Allied Gardens this Friday, May 7th. They are scheduled to perform on the Windmill Farms Main Stage from 7 to 10 pm. at the Allied Gardens Recreation Center, 5155 Greenbrier Ave., San Diego, CA 92120.

BareFootMusicNews plans to be on the scene to capture the action.

We have a treat for you today with another track from their NAMM show. Part of an awesome Michael Jackson medley, here they are with “Billie Jean."  You do not want to miss this show!

Need something to do in San Diego this weekend? This is it. See you there!

Stay tuned! Next week we have a great interview with Mobility guitar player Jason Cale.
