It has been confirmed by Adam Parsons, manager of Thin Lizzy, that Gary Moore was found dead at the luxury Kempinski Resort Hotel in Estepona, Spain in the early hours of Sunday, February 6. He was 58.

Born April 4, 1952 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, (William) Gary Moore played some fine guitar.

During a cross-genre musical career that dates back to the 60s, he is perhaps best known for his work with Thin Lizzy, Skid Row and Colosseum II.

He collaborated with a list of greats too long to mention, playing Blues, Rock and Jazz, and had a brilliant solo career. He also appeared as a regular radio host with his program “Blues Power,” spinning classic blues mixed with his own tracks.

Moore’s latest album, Bad for You Baby was recorded in London, Feb-June 2008, and produced by Gary Moore.
