Our own Paul Bourgeois and The Blue Monsters
“Ragdoll” by Hayley Hart

Paul Bourgeois Hi, I’ve been upgrading my system all day and Eric and I were practicing all day yesterday for the gig on Thursday, so I have nothing to say to anybody right now. My head is spinning. So I am giving you this to listen to. Then I can promote my band and the person we are covering.

We are doing everything from Ozzy to Jason Isbell. We are also doing this by Hayley Hart, a musician from Canada whose boots I am not worthy to polish. But I’m desperate.

This is “Ragdoll,” and I love it so much. This is as raw and honest as we get. Hayley can kill me later!

The Blue Monsters will next be appearing Thursday, May 13th from 9 to 12 at The Back Room, Kotka, Finland.

Holy Hand Grenades, Dan! You have dredged up a website for the Blue Monsters I had completely forgotten about, from years back. We have changed so much and not at all. There is stuff there that I…. Thank you thank you thank you….

Look, a gig is coming up tomorrow, we have gone more metal a bit jazzy and my vocal control has smoothed out so much. That Harp playing was from when I had so little idea what I was doing I felt I could do almost anything. And I often did. You know the feeling.

This is acoustic folk compared to what we are doing now. Nothing wrong with Blues acoustic Folk. Just keep dragging us back to it, Dan.
